The month of February will see the Wondai Regional Art Gallery hosting three exhibitions. 

2 Great Minds go ‘Whimsical’  by Maureen Irving and Sandy Hoffman (First Gallery)

 Something whimsical and imaginative. Products of fertile minds with a hint of frivolity. Welcome To Our World.  

‘Faces’ by Lucinda Dumont (Main Gallery)

Talented self-taught painter, dubbed the ‘pint sized Picasso’, Lucinda is captivating art enthusiasts with her vibrant and unconventional artistry in her exhibition titled ‘Faces’. Lucinda promises an unparalleled visual experience that challenges traditional norms. ‘Faces’ is a celebration of Lucinda’s fearless approach to colour and form, offering a glimpse into a world where boundaries are shattered and imagination reigns supreme. Each piece in the collection showcases Lucinda’s signature style – bold, expressive and brimming with vitality. Lucinda is the youngest winner of a Regional Arts Development Fund Grant in Queensland and has held successful solo exhibitions at the Gin Gin Courthouse Gallery, the Shelly Kelly Art Gallery in Mount Perry, the TM Williams Centre in Eidsvold and most recently the Gatakers Artspace in Maryborough. Her work has been featured on the ABS Wide Bay, WIN News Wide Bay, Bundaberg Now and the Burnett Today.

‘Welcome to Another World’ by Romaine Undery (Third Gallery) 

Local artist Romaine Undery, presents her new series of collage works. Themed with butterflies and flowers, this exhibition invites the viewer to enjoy many pattern and colour combinations. Featured is her largest piece (92cm x 122cm) ‘Butterfly Kiss’; a reflection of the new Butterfly Walk at RAMESA Nursery.
